The Application Analyst will work with the CampBrain application, which is a camp management software solution. CampBrain is designed to streamline and automate various tasks related to running a camp, such as registration, attendance tracking, scheduling, and communication.

 

Duties during the Camping Season

Implementation and Configuration: Setting up and configuring the CampBrain software according to the specific needs and requirements of  BCFFC. This could include customizing forms, fields, and workflows.

Troubleshooting and Support: Addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the use of the CampBrain application. This could involve troubleshooting technical issues, resolving user concerns, and ensuring the smooth operation of the software.

Integration: Collaborating with other systems or applications used by the camp to ensure seamless integration and data exchange. This may involve connecting CampBrain with other tools such as payment processors or communication platforms.

Webmaster

The basic duties of the Website Administrator involve overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a website.

Website Development and Design: Oversee the design and development of the BCFFC website, ensuring it aligns with branding guidelines and user experience standards.

Content Management: Create, edit, and update website content regularly, including text, images, and multimedia elements.

Ensure that all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the BCFFC’s messaging and goals.

Website Maintenance: Monitor website performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal functionality.

Conduct routine checks for broken links, outdated content, and other issues, and address them promptly.

Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the website from cyber threats and unauthorized access.

Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as data protection and accessibility standards.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Implement SEO best practices to improve the website’s visibility in search engine results.

Optimize content, meta tags, and other elements to enhance search engine rankings.

User Support: Provide technical support to users experiencing issues with the website.

Collaborate with committee members to address and resolve user concerns related to the website.

Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with marketing, IT, and other departments to align website strategies with overall organizational goals.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders and gather requirements for website improvements.

Training and Documentation: Develop training materials for website contributors and users.

Email Account Creation: Setting up new email accounts for employees or users. Configuring email clients and ensuring proper access.

User Permissions and Security: Managing user permissions and access levels for email accounts. Ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.

Password Management: Enforcing password policies for email accounts. Handling password resets and security-related issues.

Configuration and Troubleshooting: Configuring email settings for optimal performance. Troubleshooting email-related issues and providing support to end-users.
